One of Baytown’s oldest businesses has made some big changes — including ownership. In December longtime area residents Keli and Chance Ingram bought custom frame shop and photo developer The Keepsake, 4404 N. Main St.
The store, which has a 30 minute photo lab, has been around Baytown for nearly 30 years and offer extra services including custom correction on all photo developing.
“When you take pictures to Walgreen’s, they don’t look at every picture and do custom color correction and we do,” Chance said. “Here, it goes through that correction. We crop and do whatever the customer wants to it.”
As new owners, the Ingrams are changing the store up a bit, bringing in new things.
Keli said her store can order anything a client needs from film to frames. “We can order almost anything. Whatever you need, we are available to get that and we’ll have it in less than a week.”
The store can cater to anyone, in fact, offering a drive through and night box, in addition to the 30-minute film developing.
In addition to many new frames, the store is offering custom invitations with inset photographs as well as scrapbooking and even gifts.
The store will begin to offer scrapbooking classes on Saturdays next month.
Keli, who has three sons with her husband Chance, said her love of the job is what keeps her going every day.
“We both have a passion for this
we’re like a team. I love this. It’s the reason I got into the business in the first place and I think that makes the biggest difference of all.
